    David "Division Title" Price

    I'm not the least bit confident in the Giants 4 and 5 in the starting rotation. Really, who knows what were gonna get from Hudson.

    What I mean is you pretty much know what you are going to get from Cain and Bumgarner, baring injuries.

    I would really think it would serve the Giants best interest to seriously have that discussion with the Rays.

    Signing him long term after two seasons wouldn't require giving up a draft pick. Plus, you'd free up the money with the expiring contracts of Lincecum and Hudson.

    We could not afford to give up an everyday player like Brandon Belt and not get an everyday player in return. We do have the low level prospects, though.

    They could use a Hector Sanchez, he obviously doesn't have Belt's value.

    I'd "kick the tires" starting with;

    Kyle Crick
    Clayton Blackburn
    Heath Hembree
    Hector Sanchez

    We won't be getting Price, unfortunately, which is why we should sign Garza. We don't have enough to compete with the Mariners and Dodgers in terms of prospects..

    Okay then my offer increases;

    Crick
    Blackburn
    Hembree
    Escobar
    Sanchez

    I can do a more. I have some serious studs just two years out.

    The mariners say lol and raise you Walker, Paxton, and Peterson.

    They will ask for the farm for Price. On Rotoworld, there mentioned that it was just an inquire to see what is up with him.

    Even with Cain it's still kind of questionable, I think his struggles stemmed from his HR/FB rates being higher than normal, which I believe will return eventually, but all his other numbers were more or less in line with his career averages, so I don't know what to expect.

    Sabean tried to get in contact with the Rays about Price earlier this week, they didn't return his call.

    Plus the rangers among others.

    I think your right about Garza, plus with everyone waiting on Tanaka I think the giants could swoop in and get him if they were willing to do 5 years 70-80 mill for Garza.

    Surprised this thread is still open

    Would you trust a blind scout? Of course you wouldn't but that's what you do when you simply go by stats
    Splifftone, OptiskeptSF and Ciaban have a lot in common

    Would be nice, but as we all know it will cost the farm. I wouldn't want to trade Escobar or Crick.
