IGT: Philadelphia Flyers at Chicago Blackhawks
Place: United Center
- coming off back-to-back 6-2 wins over the Panthers and Stars
- own the best record in the NHL
- have 5th ranked PP but just the 28th ranked PK
- coming off disappointing shootout loss to OTT
- have the 20th ranked PP and 10th ranked PK
- Emery likely to get the start against his former team after back-to-back 4 GA games from Steve Mason
damn Chicago is a good team. Its refreshing seeing a #1 team that isnt a club of scumbags.
some of the best all-around hockey ive seen in a while. good, responsible, respectful stuff from both teams.
Some great hockey the last ten minutes or so. Generating chances and pressuring the puck. Liking what I'm seeing so far.

Not sure how they allowed Kane to catch the puck and flip it to the wall.
My god Timonen. I called that too, every time he gets caught in the corner like that he takes a penalty.
Pretty good all-around period for the Flyers there. Drew a couple penalties and scored on the PP, which is literally the only weakness of CHI.
Outshot CHI as well, which isnt easy.
Gotta stay physical, keep skating, keep throwing pucks on net.
Mez looks more and more confident with the puck every game.

Reason: and i had to say something
that was a 2 on 3 and Giroux is mostly responsible ... outside of mez who is almost entirely responsible for the original play
hartnell a terrible pass to the point, caught jake inbetween, 2-1 ... stupid
4th line coming up clutch right when we need them, as always. Rosehill is worthless.
How many times is Luke going to get beat on that play?!?! Do something cover someone or atleast go help read dont just f'ing stand there.
Man Versteeg is the exact player our team is missing. Wish we could get him for our team.
Oh wait. We had him. And traded him. And got in return the draft pick used to get the Pavel Kubina rental.
Honestly think that series is Homers worst ever moves
