    Finally a halfway decent game on Thursday.

    Broncos give up 40 points but win.

    Welker won't play due to a concussion sustained last sunday. Hopefully this game is decent unlike a lot of the other Thursday games.

    In your dreams?

    Even if the Broncos win, their most likely not winning by more than 1 possession score and definitely not winning by more than 2 possession scores.

    I miss the Mike Riley/Craig Whelihan days. Back then everyone in San diego just ignored football and went to the beach.
    Young black males in recent years were at a far greater risk of being shot dead by police than their white counterparts 21 times greater i, according to a ProPublica analysis of federally collected data on fatal police shootings.

    But racism is dead. Right?

    The three words AFC teams hate most; Denver at home.

    With the Chargers crippled and NO secondary against a QB I've heard likes to pass a bit... if they don't step up and Weddle have an extraordinary day... this is gonna be a long one.

    Denver at home. While its not Arrowhead there's enough noise and of course it would be really nice if you could dam well BREATH!

    Denver is the class of the division this year and the Chargers are at about 60%. Its all on Rivers again but we haven't been blown out by anyone either... not yet.

    By the Numbers

    For the year, the Chargers rank fourth in total offense (400.5 yards per game), fourth in passing (288.7 ypg), 20th in rushing (111.8 ypg) and 13th in points (24.3). The Broncos rank first in total offense (465.6ypg), first in passing (341.2 ypg), 12th in rushing (124.4 ypg) and first in points (39.6)

    Defensively, the Bolts rank 28th in total defense (382.5 ypg), 28th in passing (266.7 ypg), 19th in rushing (115.8 ypg) and 11th in points allowed (22.4). Denver ranks 25th in total defense (374.2 ypg), 29th in passing (274.3 ypg), seventh in rushing (99.8 ypg) and 25th in points allowed (26.5).

    Charger fans would like to see regardless;

    Philip Rivers got to 26 TD's and extended his franchise record streak of 25+ touchdown seasons to six. In doing so, he joined Peyton Manning (13) and Drew Brees (8) as the only quarterbacks in NFL history with 25 touchdowns in at least six consecutive seasons.

    Antonio Gates is third on the team’s all-time receiving list with 9,097 yards. He needs 107 to pass Hall of Fame wide receiver Charlie Joiner (9,203) for second.
