Should DWILL be moved to SG???

Been thinking about this for a while. It's been clear for a while now he just can't hang with quick PG's any longer. They are his worst nightmare and he's lost a lot of his explosiveness he had when he was with Utah. I rarely see him make aggressive moves towards the basket. He doesn't look comfortable getting away from pressure and double teams either. He is at that Chauncey Billups/Kirk Heinrich stage in his career where he is too big and slow to play the position full time. I think switching him to SG and part time PG similar to what PHX did with Goran Dragic makes a lot of sense and make a trade for a guy like Kyle Lowry to start along side him. Defensively our perimeter defense has been trash with DWILL and JJ.

    It's his ankles.

Watch his games last year post AS break, there was no defense in the NBA that could keep him out of the paint. He would blow by defenders like he was Russell Westbrook.

    Some examples.

So no, he should not be moving to SG. We have NOBODY else that can play PG.

Lowry is an expiring contract. What could Nets offer Rapts for him?

Not sure but I think they would definitely be interested in Toko or one of our Euro guys. Masai (Raps GM) is big fan of international players. Lowry will have a reasonable price tag due to Raps tanking and his expiring. Plumlee would certainly get it done but I think the NETS FO is high on on Plumlee.
