    Do Not Trade Matt Kemp

The last two injury riddled years is not a true reflection of Kemp's worth. When he is healthy (and he did put together a pretty good iron man streak) his numbers are off the board. Keep Kemp and hope that he can put up those MVP numbers of a couple of years ago.

Ya trading matt kemp would be a huge mistake when hes healthy hes an all star type player if he can cut down on his strike outs to though him and puig swing at alot of pitches out of the strike zone hopefully mcgwire can help both them fix that

With Seattle signing Cano, I expect them to choose to trade for Price over Kemp, but I do see Ethier being traded hopefully for a 3rd baseman

    Please, do not trade Kemp!!

I will hate Ned even more, if that's even possible!

Ethier and cash for Middlebrooks would make me very happy.

Mariners have lots of choices and $'s. This thread is for the paranoid for Kemp. Kemp's contract is known as one of the albatross deals in the league.(Puljos 8 more years and the Vato 10 year deal still not even kicking in, lol) You do realize that if(A BIG IF)...if the dodgers traded Kemp they would have to at least include $30 million dollars into the deal(Like fielder) just to open real trade talks.

Also, the Mariners are not gonna give up any of their top prospects for Kemp. Not the stars mentioned here in the forums.(Walker etc)

Mariners got cash. I'm guessing they go after Choo, Beltran or Cruz. Great for us on account it raises the prices on the Yankees. I'm all for raising prices on the Yankees. It means more tax dollars for Tanaka later.

All depends on what we get in return

    Mike Trout? Trade him
    Mike Carp? Keep him

How would you feel about a Kemp for Brandon Phillips trade?

Matt Kemp is younger and has much bigger upside than Phillips when healthy. If Matt Kemp stays healthy, his worst case scenario stats would be equivalent to Phillips best case scenario stats.

We should be focusing on getting rid of Ethier.

    Do Not Trade Matt Kemp

Dodgers GM Ned Colletti says he has made a few different offers to free agent third baseman Juan Uribe but hasn't had much dialogue lately because they're waiting for his answer, tweets Mark Saxon of ESPNLosAngeles.com.
Meanwhile, Colletti says that he won't "sell off an outfielder" just for the sake of doing it, especially with the list of free agent outfielders over the next couple of winters being a little underwhelming, tweets Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times.

My only thought is they would not be trading him if they thought he was going to be healthy. BUT my guess is maybe management knows his good years were aided, if you know what I mean.
