From Newsday: 4 years, 62 mill. I believe his market went up the moment Seattle signed Cano but I could be spitting in the wind here.

"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

    I'm happy he's a Met, but I don't like 4 years. Hopefully it's a conditional year.

I dunno Clay. Might be the right thing. If they can get three good years out of him, you eat the 4th and move on. That's the economics of baseball.

Could have been done cheaper if they signed him earlier. But I'll take it. Good job getting it done!!!!

    FoC is impressed.

    The narrative has changed.

Let's see what the exact terms are. But I like it. We need legitimate bats. He is one. Don't just assume he's Jason Bay 2.0.

    It's 4 years/60 million per Joel Sherman.
