He also tweeted that he is okay, just having it looked at, I guess waiting game and possible need for 3rd OF or Young in CF and LF for JR, until healthy again. At minimum, Mets should shut him down til spring regardless of knee status.

Juan Lagares had his knee checked out in New York, but it's nothing serious. Inflammation.

Juan Lagares has been prescribed two weeks of rest and will be out of winter ball at least that long. #mets

Good to know that our new outfield will be ready for opening day!

If he wants to maintain his health, shouldn't Lagares stay as far away as possible from the Mets' medical staff?
"There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high powered mutant of some kind, never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die."

Amputation tentatively scheduled for early March.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."
