If Trout was a FA today what would he get?

    Easily 250M+ right?

    10/350 is probably realistic.

I was thinking more like 15-17 years and 450-500 Mil.

He should get way more than 10 years when 30+ year olds like A-Roid and Pujols are getting 10 years.

When players like Ells get 153, Angel fans should be a little nervous a few years down the line.

Luckily that's around the time Hamilton and his contract comes off.

I doubt teams would go beyond 12 years. Do you understand how much changes over a decade? 300-350M over 12 years is probably about as high as it would go in my opinion. That's still an incredibly risky contract even for a 20 year old with Trout's talent.

Id say 10/300, teams wont want to go over 10 years and this way he'll be in for one more huge payday. I think it'd be higher than $30 mil per year but only a handful of teams are capable of paying that kind of money.

If he was a FA today that means he would hit FA at the age of 22. I would say he would get 12 yrs/360 million dollars, maybe more if that was the case.

Considering he hits FA at 26, probably 10 yrs/300+million.
