I Pledge of Allegiance: Gasol's last 4 games

Since he made that pledge of donating to the Philippines, Pau has been playing like the best center in the game.

21.0 points per game, 8.5 rebounds per game, 4.0 assists per game, 1.2 blocks per game, 0.5 steals per game

Shooting percentages: 54% field goals and 77% free throws.

    Pau!

Lakers should strike when the iron is hot and trade him now before his knees start giving him trouble in a couple of weeks. Love Pau and love what he's done for the Lakers. But I think his time with the Lakers has ran it course. Clearly he does not fit the mold of athletic young shooting player that is favored by Dantoni. Lakers could get multiple quality players including a point guard for a huge expiring contract like Pau's. Give us more financial flexibility next year.

Are you sure that Princkles'experiment is here to stay? What if Melo decides to join the mamba? Would he like to see this coach again?

Don't think the knicks would do it, except if they are already starting to think to go to the lottery.

The only place I would send Gasol is to Minny for a Kevin Love package so he can unite with Rubio...Minny is starting to sink...and their payroll is heavy...If Love would tell the FO that he will opt out in 2015, I believe a deal is doable... Minny would get cap relief in 2014...and start over...

Dont think Lakers would do that.. Especially if they feel they have a chance of getting Melo over the offseason.

I still think we make a package and get rid of Blake. His value has definitely gone up.

Possible. Someone needs to do some heavy recruiting though.

But to see a line-up of:

    Hill
    Love
    Johnson
    Kobe
    Nash

I would definitely miss our big man in the middle.

Question: Pull the trigger now, or wait it out to see what the market brings in 2014?
Who knows? Pau just might re-sign for a relatively cheaper rate.

GREAT THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.
