Lightbulb The NFL Draft Combine should be full pads.

New rule I would like to see implemented. All participants in the NFL Draft Combine has to wear full pads in all events except when bench pressing. I'm tired of inflated numbers of the draft; then when they suit up, that 4.4 speed looks like 4.65. Lets start getting some complete truth in advertising. We drool over numbers at the end of a football season, and we eye technique, but when it comes to an up close and personal interview/showing of skill we allow them to work without uniform? If they was in the military and had to preform they wouldn't shed their uniform and pack (depending on the drill), so why do we allow it? Though any good scout has a fairly good idea of the kind of ability a certain player has, based on his college career, but still, lets not leave any stone un-turned. Mandatory full pads is the way we must go, for the sake of good football.

    My 2014 NYG Draft picks
    1st: David Yankey, G/OT (or) La'el Collins, G/OT (or) Cyril Richardson, OT/G
2nd: Kelvin Benjamin, WR (or) Brandon Coleman, WR (or) Jordan Matthews, WR
3rd: Austin Seferian-Jenkins, TE (or) C.J. Fiedorowicz, TE
4th: Kyle Fuller, CB (or) Stanley Jean-Baptiste, CB (or) Dontae Johnson, CB
5th: Weston Richburg, C (or) Tyler Larsen, C
6th: James Gayle, DE/OLB (or) Jackson Jeffcoat, DE

100% behind you, but I don't see this getting a lot of support from the league.

I know... to the league if they don't make that change.

we have a scouting team that put more weight on game tapes than combine numbers. rule change would only help other teams not us. let other teams keep making mistakes on these combine workout wonders.

I agree 100% and I'll go even further to say I would like to see contact and scrimmaging but obviously that would NEVER happen considering teams barely practice anymore but that's just the football side of me..

The NFL Draft Combine should be full pads.

I'd rather see them get rid of the combine. Rely on scouting alone.
