Heard this in the car earlier. Thing that jumped out at me at the time was that most of these guys were in-house solutions. MUST be saving up for something. New market inefficiency = exploiting via cheap *** coaching staff. These guys just keep impressing.

Hyde's new role is definitely the most interesting. You can tell that is a direct response to the previous staff's perceived issues with player development.

Also, I f'ing love Bill Mueller, so even though hitting coaches aren't a huge deal I am irrationally happy about this.

I like all this except Bosio don't think much of him at all really what pitcher really played well? I'd like to have the right guy and keep him for awhile so we're not changing messages every year I'm sure he'll get fired in the next year or so bad move in my opinion.

There were a ton of our guys who under performed If you're a fan of Bosio that is fine I'm not. A few guys did pretty well and Wood did great I just think Bosio was a bad hire.

But then again I haven't been happy since Rothschild left so maybe I'm being a little hard on him.

Curious about Gary Jones I really wanted Omar think he would have been really good for Castro, Baez, Bryant, and Alcantara.

Still need a first base coach wouldn't mind bringing a guy like Kenny Lofton to help with Outfield and base running.

Most interesting here is the addition of the QA coach. Welcome to modern times, Cubs.
Next year, we are totally going to win a playoff game.
