    Jodie Meeks

    13.7 pts 53 fg % 49% from 3pt range...in 27 mins...

    Is he our Steve Kerr?

    Lakerfans need to eat crow...

We all bashed this kid...and now he's coming through...

From the judge of the progression of Meeks and Hill...

we just need to be patient and let our young talent develop...

Last year I HATED Jodie Meeks.. He was just super inconsistent and I admit I expected that again this year.. I'm glad I'm wrong, he's been very efficient and is now one of my fav players to watch.. Part of me kinda expects him to start sucking again tho.. :/

    Your baby can't do this

It's just 12 games, there is still 70 to be played.

He seems to have improved his game.

true...But he's never played like this before...It at least gives us a snippet of his potential...Once Kobe comes back there should be less pressure...
Point being, we need to patient with our young guys...

It's all about playing time. Shooters become ice-cold playing behind Kobes minutes.

If we add up the potential of everyone on the roster, I think the Lakers have the potential to be very good (potentially this year).

lakres have the most former top 15 picks in the league. these guys were highly regarded, the talents still there, sometimes they just need the right coach.

one thing i love about d'antoni, give him some wings and he can bring the most out of them.

This is how we do it! I still believe

So he is shooting great and one of our leading scorers. I wished he could defend his position too.

Jodie Meeks is fool's gold (which is why Mitch extended him). Like I have said before (even going back to last season), he performs best when expectations are low. He might have a great season... but if we get to the playoffs, he will go back to sucking full-time.

Some will never be happy no matter what you do.
It's great to see Meeks playing like this. He's shooting lights out and doing pretty good on the defensive end too with tons of energy and being pesky as hell. Big props to him

Give it more time. I admit he really looks like he is just playing differently (not so lost when attacking the rim) but it's still only been 12 games.
