How long will MT, GV, and BM get free passes?

MT, GV, and BM have stunk up the building for a majority of the season, but they continually get big minutes.

You have to love Jimmer fans!

You do underatand this is a SACRAMENTO KINGS fans board, right?

I know you love your man. And for the most part, most of us agree Jimmer has not gotten a fair shake, but B-mac is our future, so don't go there. Vasquez will need to learn the players before he is effective. So the only guy I think you could point at is Thornton.

Everyone wouldn't mind your takes. Infact I think we need some checks and balances, but don't bash the whole team. The team was a mess when the new regime took over.

To Freejimmer, out of curiosity, what type of numbers to you think Jimmer would put up if given 25 minutes per game. Also, what do you think the Kings' record would be if Jimmer was given PT?

25 minutes consistently, knowing it will not change and not having to look over his shoulder every time he makes a mistake...

11ppg, 3.5apg, 2rpg...48fg%, 42 3pt%, 90+ft%. He's a great and willing passer, a knock down 3pt specialist and he will spread the floor for Cousins.

Oh and the Kings would play .500 ball if Jimmer was given serious minutes; that's WHY they don't play him. They are TANKING because there is no other explanation for playing MT, BM, and GV over Jimmer.

Well, we'll never win a championship with this rooster anyway. Why not tank? I can understand benching Jimmer now.

But I still would love to see Jimmer get some kind of run. We're going nowhere anyway.

The conspiracy theory is funny. I don't think Malone is sitting him because he wants to lose, if he wanted to lose Mccallum would be getting more playing time. I think when the organization declined Jimmers option that doomed Jimmers playing time as he will be a unrestricted free agent next season and the Kings now have ZERO reason to develop Jimmer.

I can see Jimmer with starter time getting 11 PPG, 3 AST, and 2 REB a game I think that is reasonable expectations of his offense, no way he shoots 48% at the NBA level, and I doubt he hits 90% at the free throw line, I figure he is top 10 in free throw percentage but not 90+% plus.

Ben Mclemore is getting playing time because the Kings are developing him as he is under contract for the next 3 seasons, unlike Jimmer who will be gone after this season.

Well, this regime traded for Vasquez, and drafted McLemore. They will get a ton of leeway. They inherited Thornton and Jimmer, Thornton hasn't been getting free passes since he was canned from the starting 5.

So let me get this straight, your gripe with the Kings has always been how badly the Kings have misused Jimmer and havent given him a chance to shine? I agree with that point whole heartedly. He's never really gotten a chance, regardless of the fact that im not sure if he would flourish given that chance.

But you want the Kings to make the same mistake twice and sit a superior gifted athlete and shooter like McLemore just 8 games into his NBA career so that they can stunt his growth too. Call me crazy but making the same mistake twice with a player whos ceiling is higher doesnt sound right to me. Now Thornton i understand your gripe with, I don't like Thornton at all, and Vasquez has played the same amount of games with the team as McLemore. Too early to judge and pull the plug. Just like it was for Jimmer. He'll be traded soon and hopefully youll be happy for once
