I'd rather have him around than the zero-dimensional Dee Gordon.

Any way you slice it.....the bench has to be upgraded really bad. Not to mention, Hanley is not an everyday player anymore. The man needs his days off. The dodgers have got to punch up the bench real bad. You can find a punto anywhere......don't miss him and ask for something better.

Punto was probably our best bench player. I mean hitting was very iffy but could play multiple infield positions with above average defense. Don't know how to feel about it but I do know if he's gone please god make Schumaker gone too. There is not one player who specialized in rally killing like that dipshit. I mean Punto played a lot more than he should have last year and over all did well IMO. We have to remember to judge him as a bench player not the starter he had to be used as for much of the year.

    This.

Punto was a useful player. If a team's backup middle infielder can't hit, that's not a big deal. It's the fact that none of the other bench players could hit that was the problem.

The entire bench has to be redone. Dodgers are gonna need some guys with pop and can play everyday. Hanley needs a strong back up.

I want them to beef up the bench.

Whats a bench for if we dont use them. Seriously, SVS best game was when he played that stand up game during the NLCS.

That's just sad. Show me a team where Punto is your best bench player and I'll show you a team that will be watching the WS from home.
