Peanut Tillman out for the rest of the season..

    SUCKS.

Bears placed CB Charles Tillman on injured reserve/designated to return with a triceps injury.

He'll be eligible to resume practicing in six weeks, but can't play for another eight weeks. So Tillman's season is over unless the Bears make the playoffs. Should they qualify -- Marc Trestman's team is currently 5-4 with a relatively easy rest-of-season schedule -- top corner "Peanut" could play in the Divisional Round. That assumes he can fully recover in two months from what appears to be a triceps tear, of course. And there are no guarantees. 32 years old now, Tillman has been shell of himself trying to play through knee and groin problems all season.
I don't ever recall a Bears season decimated by so many injuries..

Don't see the Bears resigning him after this and how his season has gone.

@MajorJensen33 I think there's a good chance of that. Could also wind up back with Lovie.

I tweeted Mike asking him if he thought that this might be Tillmans last game with the Bears.

Bring him back to play SS, draft a CB in the 1st

His price tag should be significantly lower with this injury, and I'm sure he wants to play/retire in Chicago. DO IT PHIL

Un-****ing-believable. I'm gonna have a hard time convincing my dad to keep coming and watching the games lol. He was already saying DET took the division yesterday and our WC hopes are remote. I keep telling him he we can still pull it out but now this... mother****er...

Jennings gonna be on Torrey Smith?

Well I think this makes Phil's off-season decision at CB an easy one. You just can't invest big money or a lengthy deal on an aging vet who suffered so many injuries so rapidly. His knee, his wrist, his tricep, all this season. And I really don't believe a transition to safety would be as seamless as many say it would be for Tillman.

    injuries…

The defense has gotten hit so hard by injuries this season. We are literally missing 6 or 7 defensive starters, not to mention three of them are Briggs, Melton, and Tillman. **** this, I'm gonna pick a new favorite sport.
