I don't ever recall a Bears season decimated by so many injuries..Bears placed CB Charles Tillman on injured reserve/designated to return with a triceps injury.
He'll be eligible to resume practicing in six weeks, but can't play for another eight weeks. So Tillman's season is over unless the Bears make the playoffs. Should they qualify -- Marc Trestman's team is currently 5-4 with a relatively easy rest-of-season schedule -- top corner "Peanut" could play in the Divisional Round. That assumes he can fully recover in two months from what appears to be a triceps tear, of course. And there are no guarantees. 32 years old now, Tillman has been shell of himself trying to play through knee and groin problems all season.
