I'm mixed on this. I mean in a way I'm glad Dolan is trying to be more of a hands on owner, ala Prokhorov/Cuban, but other than Phil or Jerry coming out of retirement, where is the no brainer better option than Woodson?

I wouldn't mind seeing Pat get the job because of how ugly his Knick career ended, still though, he's no sure fire upgrade, at least not yet.

Hell no. There is a reason why he'd never been a head coach yet and im not willing to let the jnicks be the guineapig

Dolan being more of a hands on owner is when the worst stretches in franchise history happens. It's when Isiah happens. It's when firing Larry Brown happens, cause you know coaching bum players Isiah brought in. It's when Grunwald gets "demoted" out of nowhere after the best year the team has had in over a decade and the best regular season in 20 years. It's when bringing Steve Mills back happens.

The team only makes any sort of progress when Dolan goes on tour to smoke crack with his crappy band.

I'm all for active owners, but only the ones who are smart. James Dolan continues to be the worst thing that has happened to the Knicks and Rangers.

Lol Phil Jackson has won so much. There's no way he'd even consider coaching this clown act of a team.

Jerry Sloan or JVG would be craze, but I highly doubt they'd even be interested either.

Only coaches who want any job would want it. If Lionel Hollins is out there, I wouldn't mind giving him a shot.
