Anyone starting tot hink that Ryan Miller is back, and could be hte starter again? Quick posted a save percentage under .900% last season too. Playoff success or not, that's horrible.

I think Miller should be the front runner for the job. He's got it this year performance wise and has the most history of rising to the occasion in these sort of situations.

It will probably land him a crazy contract too.

That's a good point with the contract.

I like Howard with Miller and Timmy behind him.

I think you have to take Schneider, Quick and Miller.

It will be 3 out of Schneider, Miller, Quick or Howard.

I honestly don't know. You can make a case for all 4. Will probably just be whoever the coach likes most. With a short leash if he has a bad game.

Depends on the system that the team is running.

They have their own scouts for Team USA that has been monitoring these goaltenders.

Gonna have to roll the dice.

I believe Quick gets the start out of the box, medium sized leash. Just gut feeling.

your not mentioning that last season Quick had back surgery and was expected to have a slow start in the short season. In the playoffs he ended up with .934 1.86..
he was .902 last season, not under .900, & he was playing make up for the early bad start
why are you posting stats after just 10 games?
Quick will get it together and likely be the starter
Miller will have a chance at being the starter but I think its doubtful unless he's outstanding and Quick's average
Howard will probably be the 3rd but will be unnoticed.

I think anyone of those guys has a fair chance. Whoever gets hot. I really believe Thomas is overrated at this point.

    Sample size.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.
