The Clippers have abandoned defense for the first couple games of the season, and will want to turn this into a scoring match by pushing the tempo.

I agree we need to see a heavy dose of Cole, but I hope Chalmers is up to the task as well. I remember how a couple years ago both Chalmers and Cole made it their duty to end "Linsanity" and both of them put the vice grip on him one after the other. You aren't going to shut down a superstar like Paul, but hopefully just keep him from going off.

If Miami holds Chris Paul to his career averages of around 18 PTS, 10 AST, and limit the pace, we have a good shot of winning. If he's getting to the FT line 10 times like he has against other teams, we are toast.

I think you are way over exaggerating.

Lewis played just fine. He was moving the ball, which is important, he set up a couple baskets by getting in the post. He made a positive impact on the game. It isn't as simple as Lewis 1-4 vs Beasley 2-4 so Beasley is waaay better. Come on, be reasonable.

Thank you, people on this forum need to start paying attention to detail and stop looking at the stat sheet at the end of the game. I barely post on this site anymore because of ignorant post like that. "PLAY BEASLEY HE SCORED 6 POINTS in just 4 MINS!" Sure those two 3's looked great but by any chance were you guys paying attention on the defensive end or that terrible pass he gave to Joel? lol please...

Don't get me wrong i love Beasley and honest think he can give us a big lift if god forbid Lebron or Bosh were to go down. But right now we're in no need of Beasley, I rather play Lewis who is a better 3pt shooter, seems to stay in front of his man more often and doesn't need the ball to score. We have a really deep team, i expect Beasley to have a bigger impact next year if he sticks around, when some of our bigger role bench players like Shane/Ray/Lewis retire

Beasley will get his time soon enough. Just gotta be patient. Winning is the ultimate goal, doesn't matter to me who's on floor just want to win. But Beasley showed he was ready when called and Spo and staff will take note of that I'm sure

Defense needs to pick it up more....and hopefully Wade doesn't get discouraged about attacking the basket since the officials have decided to not give him any calls.

I hate to beat a dead horse but this game proves even more

    WE NEED A CENTER

    And

BEASLEY needs to play over LEWIS

There's like a million young big C's in the league that can play D and get rebounds

Who cares if they can score

Haslem has served all he can for us. He needs to now be the big who no longer suites up unless we have injuries.
