Honestly, should be a slaughtering. SHOULD. We probably win 4-3. Howard is expected to get the start with Gustavsson injured. Edmonton's top lines look like crpa 5 on 5. Defense is ******. Goaltending is brutal.

Helm is suppose to play tonight unless he suffers a setback. I look for him to center the 4th line. I read yesterday that Bacock was not going to play Howard back to back, so look for Mrzak in the net unless Gus's neck is better.

Howard needs to play this one imo. It's a back to back, I don't think we will play that well.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.

Mrazek could get the start and get er done. Edmonton has the ability to throw a lot of shots on net, but are piss poor in their pinches. We have the chance to create many odd man rushes.

Ericsson out 10 games? Ouch! That hurts. Please call-up Gustav Nyquist however.

Here are the Red Wings' anticipated lines and defense pairings:

    Henrik Zetterberg-Pavel Datsyuk-Todd Bertuzzi

    Daniel Cleary-Stephen Weiss-Daniel Alfredsson

    Justin Abdelkader-Joakim Andersson-Tomas Tatar

Drew Miller-Darren Helm-Mikael Samuelsson - no Tootoo again

    Niklas Kronwall-Danny DeKeyser

Kyle Quincey-Brendan Smith - please split this pairing up

    Brian Lashoff-Jakub Kindl

    Petr Mrazek (starting)

    Jimmy Howard

Scratches: Johan Franzen (ill), Patrick Eaves, Jordin Tootoo, Jonas Gustavsson (stiff neck).

Why does Samuelsson continue to play? The guy is horrible.

HIS GOALS PER GAME IS HIGHER THAN JOHAN FRANZEN'S.

Well that's what happens when score a goal in 4 games you play. Still it saddens me. He should be leading the team in games scratched and that's it.

I despise these ten o'clock start times.
