Around the NBA: 2013-2014 Season Edition

Wanted to kick off a new thread for the regular season, since the old one was mainly a discussion of off season roster moves for other teams and what not.

As bholly puts it in the previous thread: This is a place to talk about other teams, games, players, and trades going on in the NBA that don't directly affect the Sixers. I know there's the NBA forum for that, but it's good to have a place for the guys in here to talk to each-other about this stuff without getting dragged into the main forum homerism hell-hole.

Any of you guys see what Jrue Holiday said last night to the fans before the Pelicans game? Haha

    http://www.cbssports.com/nba/eye-on-...-pelicans-fans

"Yo how y'all doin Pelican fans? On behalf of myself and the Sixers, we want to welcome y'all to the first Pelicans game this year."

In fairness, most of the Sixers probably still love Jrue and do want to welcome a bunch of people into a building to cheer for him, you know?

Seriously, though, if he just said it in the middle of nowhere it would be whatever, but sandwiching it between two uses of the word 'Pelicans', all of it within like 4 seconds, is just unreal.

haha that's hilarious! He had a good game last night and Eric Gordon seem's to be getting back to his Clipper days form. They need some help in the front court, but def a team I'll be watching again this yr.

22 points on 10 shots for Kyle Korver tonight. 6-6 from deep. I wish we were contenders and he was on our team again. Another good game for Xavier Henry, too.

Bynum is averaging 16 pts 12 rebs and 4 blks on a per 36 through two games while shooting 25%. I hate using per 36 cause people like to use it to make scrubs look better than they are, but in this case it fits. He's a 36 mpg player if completely healthy.

MCW gets the eastern conference player of the week award.

He's averaging 20.7 points, 9.0 assists, 4.7 rebounds, 4.3 steals per game. Unbelievable.

On 7/20/14 we took our Calla and Pebble for a stay while on vacation. On 7/21 Calla, who is diabetic, was given 10x her insulin dosage. She wasn't found until 12 hours after being overdosed. After a week and a half of suffering we made the tough decision to put her down because of brain damage and a lack of a quality of life. She was only 7 and her breed lives until their 20's. Over half of our beloved Calla's life was stolen from us.

hah didnt even notice i had it like that. im actually a little more impressed that he dropped 30. Jordan has had a strong start to the season for LAC and is palying a little more min i believe and looks like Vuc really took it to him. ON the flipsdie DJ grabbed 19 rebs himself i think. Two monster rebounding performances in one game
