Tim Hardaway Jr. made his pro debut after dealing with an illness earlier this week, scoring five points with two assists and one 3-pointer in 15 minutes.
He had an upper respiratory infection earlier this week and was thrown into the rotation tonight. Coach Mike Woodson said that Hardaway would get minutes, but only seeing 15 tonight is discouraging to his value once J.R. Smith comes back from his five-game suspension.
Pablo Prigioni played through an illness and was in the starting lineup for the Knicks on Wednesday, finishing with seven points, three rebounds, five assists, three steals and a 3-pointer on 3-of-3 shooting.
The Knicks went small tonight against the Bucks, so both Andrea Bargnani and Metta World Peace surprisingly came off the bench. Prigioni is worth keeping an eye on, but it looks like Mike Woodson isn't going to play the same five guys every night at this point.
Metta World Peace came off the bench for the Knicks as they went with a small lineup against the Bucks.
MWP had four points and four rebounds, and it looks like the Knicks starting lineup, at least to start the season, may change from night to night.
Andrea Bargnani hit just 3-of-9 shots for six points, two rebounds, one assist and one steal in just 17 minutes off the Knicks bench on Wednesday.
Yuck. It's apparent that Mike Woodson is reluctant to play Bargnani due to his lack of defense, and it probably won't be long before what little confidence he has is gone. He may still be worth keeping around on fantasy benches, but it's hard to see him ever being an everyday starter.
Iman Shumpert played through and elbow injury and hit 5-of-13 shots and a 3-pointer for 16 points, four rebounds, one assist and one block in Wednesday's win.
He'll be rock solid for four more games, but all bets are off once J.R. Smith is back from his five-game suspension.
Raymond Felton tweaked his hamstring injury on Wednesday but played through it, finishing with 18 points, three assists and three steals on 7-of-12 shooting in 34 minutes.
It's been well documented that he is a warrior and will do what he can to play through this injury. So far, so good, but we'll have to see how he's feeling before Thursday's game against the Bulls before declaring him fully healthy.
Tyson Chandler had 10 points, six rebounds, three steals and five blocks.
Despite the lack of offense and boards, Chandler really came through with the steals and blocks tonight. He played 32 minutes and should be a solid fantasy center this season, despite not costing you much on draft night.
