I believe him if he says it. Nicks may very well be angry at trade rumors or want a change of scene or something. Or the coaches are disappointed with his play (doubt it, its not been bad despite many overreactive fans). Or maybe some of both.
Maybe it's just Diehl speculating. I dunno, I can't imagine why the Giants wouldn't have dumped him while they could if they thought he wouldn't re-sign. All signs seem to indicate him staying, so I don't know where Diehl is getting that.
I bet he stays.
Then there's this:
It would be typical of Florio and PFT to reach with a partial comment.
Yea I saw the whole interview soon after and realized it was just speculation regarding the financial aspect and big money tied up in the WR spot.
Yeah. Based on what I've heard I was thinking Nicks is a lock to stay, but now wondering if its more 50/50 depending on what another team will pay.
I really don't think he'll be back and if he stays were going to lose someone else we don't want to see go, Randles making pretty good progress too much money at the WR if we pay him
Diehl actually said that?? It's much more probable that Nicks will be back rather than Diehl....
I wish the title was the other way around
Just wondering how much it will take to sign him. My guess is at least 10 million a year.

I'm really growing Ill of nicks this season. I don't know why. I feel like he is the type of player that will cash in them he will play half *** not caring because he got his money.
Cruz got paid and still balls on the field.
