His teammates came together to shock the NBA world in a game that everyone (vegas, nba fans, TNT crew, even D'Antoni) predicted would most likely lose. A bunch of outcasts and "scrubs" embarrassed a team many consider a contender with a top 3 coach, all without Kobe. The ball movement and team chemistry was amazing and exciting to see, and you know Kobe will change that when he returns. Players will stand around watching him be "black mamba" and do his thing, hoping to at least get his rebounds or a pass here and there.
After the final whistle blew, Kobe immediately stormed to the locker room without even acknowledged his teammates as they walked off the court, not even a high five or a nod. Just walked away and didn't look back once.
That to me says a lot. Obviously he's mad that he couldn't be a part of the win, but him doing what he did just shows what kind of person he really is. If this team keeps playing well without him, his stock (in terms of his next contract) will keep diminishing by the game.
I'm a Laker fan first, a Kobe fan 2nd. I hope Kobe starts accepting his future as a no longer being the #1 guy on the team.
