    GG rip offs

Adam Jones over Ellsbury? Pathetic nonsense.

Napoli not even making the three finalists? Garbage. Napoli was better than all three.

6/27/09: “We expect [Rondo] to play by the rules and be a leader as a point guard. We need him to be more of a leader,” Ainge said. “There were just a couple situations where he was late this year, I don’t know if he was sitting in his car, but showed up late and the rest of the team was there. We have team rules and you have to be on time. He was fined for being late, he said he was stuck in traffic, and it’s just unacceptable.”

At least players like Machado won. In the past it would probably be Beltre or Longoria based on reputation. The voters are slowly accepting defensive metrics which is a good sign for the future. Nap was robbed and there are a couple very questionable decisions like Jones and Phillips.

Yes the trend is getting better, but Machado should have won in any era over anyone else playing this year.

Napoli was the snub I was most pissed about. The guy worked his *** off to become a great first baseman. As you've stated Bags, Napoli not even being a finalist was/is a travesty.

Jones has the reputation of being godly with the glove because he usually makes a couple highlight catches every year. He started the all star game in CF over Trout.

Adam Jones was a negatively graded defensive CF this season, one of the worst in the league actually in terms of UZR and DRS. Pathetic how he wins it in back to back seasons.

And Nap was a huge snub.
