This deserves it own thread. McKenzie rubbed many in the nation the wrong way when he sent certain "high profile" players packing this past offseason.
Lets track them through this thread and see if these were correct decisions. I'll start with a few of the players I wanted gone very, very badly.
Tommy Kelly: Currently injured and not nearly the impact player Patriotfan thought they were getting.
Micheal Huff: Has been abused repeatedly on the Ravens D, including a torching by Julius Thomas to start out the season vs. the Broncos. Friend of mine is a die-hard Ravens fan from D.C. and cannot stand him. Says he has no clue how to play the position, which is the same thing we uttered when calling for the coaching staff to convert him to a CB permanently.
Rolando McClain: Out of football after signing with the Ravens earlier this season. SO MANY PEOPLE were either for or against this move. This forum was rocking with great arguments being made to both keep and get rid of him. His youth and production at Alabama was the biggest reason some saw fit to keep him. The other half thought he was poison to the locker room, lazy, unmotivated, slow, and more concerned with being a thug. The latter was right on this one.
So far, RM cutting these guys was a good move. Thier replacements are just as good, if not better, and have come on the cheap.
So lets hear it, out of the many cuts of former Raiders, which ones were you happy or unhappy with after their play this season?
