My only problem was the inaction on Pryor's hit.
Look if I am the boss and I say "look guy's this helmet on helmet stuff has to stop, I am tired of seeing my players get injured from this type of thing!" And the next week you go out and with intent or not smack another player in the helmet and cause what I just asked you not to cause then you will receive a fine. You do it again and the fine gets more expensive. Remember I still need the dollars, we just settled a concussion lawsuit with former players for close to a billion bucks.
There is nothing wrong with a nice helmet on the ball or arm, a good shot to the midsection and so many other violent moves that are still allowed and the collisions are still just as brutal. Injury will always be a part of this sport but I don't see the problem with trying to minimize it by taking away blows to the head. It has been proven that it is harmful to the players you have to try and do something to minimize the risk if possible.
As I get older I find myself more interested in everyone going home in one piece to do it again another day.
Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of the day.-Theodore Roosevelt
There's no country on Earth that would tolerate missiles raining down on its citizens from outside its borders.
