I like having a goaltender with a track record and recent success both. For me, it's down to Mike Smith, Kari Lehtonen, Carey Price (despite his down year) and then the wild cards Craig Anderson, Sergei Bobrovsky and Corey Crawford. I'm actually taking Kari Lehtonen here at 7 and I know I might get ripped for it but so be it.

Went with Bob. Felt the Vezina winner could be ignored no longer.
You need centerman that can play two ways and if they donít play two ways in the end, you canít win, because the guy you are counting on canít get himself on the right side of the puck enough. So sure he can score, he can score but his team loses every night, I didnít know that was the objective. I thought winning was the objective. So if you centers canít play down the middle, and canít play without the puck, you have no chance.

The voting for Price is kind of a joke.

Because he has had two good seasons, one of which he wasn't really the full time starter, and people seem to think he's some kind of top tier goalie. Only until about now has it started to stop.

Price is really good when it comes to his goaltending technique and the way he plays is so smooth that you're intrigued to put him in the top 10 just based on that. Personally, I think price is a stud and I have him in my top 10, I'd like to see results though. I really like Price. It was down to Kari, price and bob for me.

Carey Price was the favourite to win the Vezina by the GMs and/or coaches with 3 weeks remaining in the NHL season. His team also doesn't play a defensive style that benefits him or pads his statistics. He's not inconsistent, but has off nights. When he's on, he's pretty much unbeatable.

As for Bobrovsky, I have Ryan Miller and Kari Lehtonen over him.

Carey Price is playing unreal right now and is a very good goalie. It's bs that people are wrighting him off at 26 yrs old.
