We need to beat Fister and steal one of the Verlander/Sanchez games.

If we manage to beat Verlander, certainly would feel much more comfortable heading into the following 2 games vs Fister and Sanchez.

If Sanchez shuts us out twice I'll be stunned. I think the Fister game is important that we win for sure though.

John Farrell, hinting that Jonny Gomes might start tomorrow: "We can't fully measure the intangibles" Gomes brings. http://bit.ly/1aG3Cuk

Can't measure the urgency. But what the ****? Nava has had some good games vs Verlander, Gomes doesn't have a hit off him.

If Nava sits against Verlander tomorrow, Farrell is fully incompetent.

We really need to win 2 out of 3 here. Otherwise we would then have to beat Scherzer and Verlander at home in games 6/7. We will see, need to win atleast one.

Also assuming that Middlebrooks will be starting tomorrow because he got a double last night...

    Poor Bogaerts.

This year, LHH have hit only .236 against Verlander, while RHH have hit .271 against him. I wouldn't mind seeing Bogaerts play over Drew, instead of Middlebrooks.
