If ever there was a time, it's now:

Giants lost another RB Thursday night & the only one they had left (Brandon Jacobs) wore a black thigh wrap for the rest of the game.

    LeShoure to the Giants.

Not sure Nicks will be the gift in return, even though he dropped a very easy slant, ultimately not having a great impact & Rueben Randle becoming a big time threat. Nicks stats (4/70) look decent, but what stood out in the game was his mental lapses. Without his 31 yard catch, he was 3 rec for 9 yards. But, with Eli & Randle not being on the same page most of the time, Nicks still proves vital to the team with Cruz. Of Eli's 15 INTS, something like half of them are attributed to passes to Randle. And last night it was evident again.

So, I'm thinking something like a straight up swap of 3rd-5th round pick, preferably no lower than a 4th for Leshoure.

Or, Leshoure/Fox for a 3rd & backup G/T James Brewer. He is a fairly nimble 6'6" 320 Lb. mountain of a man who could push for the RT job.

Your thoughts? If Detroit can't get a WR in return, what else would you accept from the Giants instead?

I agree, though I'm not sure leshoure would spark their season... Hopefully they're desperate enough.

    Leshoure for Britt.

Tennessee was 1st & goal from the 1 last week against KC and couldn't score in 4 tries. Britt just rides the pine anyways. They need a power back, we need a playmaking WR. Both have been disappointments for their respective teams, and of course, Britt has played for the Shatz, so he passes that test.

LeShoure has no value right now. We'd be lucky to get a 5th from the Giants.

Leshore was great at the goal line last year. We should be shopping him to Any team that needs a power runner.

Titans x 1000 Shonne Greene sucks, so does Chris Johnson

Leshoure for britt makes the most sense. We could probably even get a late round pick back with britt in that deal.

Sorry bout that. Any trade involving Mikel Leshoure to bring in another WR the lions dont operate like that. They are very much pleased with they way Calvin plays and the way he carries the other players. And besides we all know Nate Burleson is the best #2 WR in history in our front office mind so they wont replace him with Hakeem Nicks or Kenny Britt. LOL

    rotoworld:

Sources tell CBS that the Titans have been attempting to get a third-round draft pick for Kenny Britt.
Predictably, potential suitors are scoffing at that asking price. Britt has been among the league's worst wideouts when on the field, has a long history of off-field issues and his contract is up after this season. Jason La Canfora says something like a fifth-round pick is more realistic. The Titans, who have sharply reduced Britt's role, could very well end up accepting that meager return around the Oct. 29 trade deadline. The Lions, 49ers and Patriots are candidates to take a flier.
