Going with Boston here.
Boston Red Sox: 2013 World Series Champs
Indianapolis Colts: 8-4, Week 14 vs. Cincinatti
Detroit Pistons: 7-10, games this week vs. Miami, Milwaukee, Chicago and Milwaukee
Ottawa Senators: 10-13-4, games this week vs. Florida, Tampa Bay, and Toronto
I like the fact that Detroit's starters are all right handed, no matter how talented they are. Lefty's gave us the most problems with our offence whenever there was any. Detroit's pen is also pretty shaky but... this is going to be a great series non the less.
Gotta go with my Sox in 6.

Tigers in 6
Boston in 5. Yeah sure let's go with that.
Boston in 5 sounds about right. Regardless, either of these 2 teams needs to win the 8 games the rest of the way. I won't accept anything less. AL all the way!
Going with a gut instinct, Boston in 5.
going tigers here
Detroit needs to bench Miggy.
He can't hit right now for any power whatsoever.
He's defense has gotten even worse.
And he's terrible on the basepaths.
It's obvious that he is incredibly injuried right now. He's probably worth negative value at this point.
They won't do it, of course, but if they really want the best shot at winning they need to bench him.

Joe West will be the crew chief and Game One home-plate umpire in the ALCS.
This is why no one thinks umps get held accountable
Miggy is a presence in the lineup even if he's hurt. An unhealthy Miggy trumps anything they put in his place. Unless he physically cannot make it on the field, you put him out there. Other than a defensive substitution like last night after he made the last out in a 3-0 game, I wouldn't take him out.
Tigers in 4-7. I don't care as long as they win.
I have to go with the Tigers here.
Austin Jackson, Omar Infante, Prince Fielder, Miguel Cabrera, Torii Hunter, Jhonny Peralta, Victor Martinez - that's a lot of offense.
When you factor in Justin Verlander, Anibal Sanchez, Doug Fister, and Max Scherzer they are a force to reckon with in a 7 Game series.
Now, anything can happen in October baseball but based on who has a better team -- it's Detroit.
