Well it seems like there are at least a few of us who get into mock drafts and prospect evaluations already, so just figured I'd get a team needs thread going since personally I don't get to follow enough teams to know their needs and therefore never make mocks because it would just be a lot of BPA and fluff.
For SF I think the WR position is a glaring and distressing need. Boldin, Kyle Williams, Manningham and Kassim Osgood and possibly a 5th that I can't recall are all set to hit FA this coming offseason, leaving SF with Crabtree (with one year left and a slew of injuries so far in his career despite a solid 2012 season), Quinton Patton (shows promise), Jon Baldwin (a bust so far through his career) and Marlon Moore (offers very little besides some speed) on the roster at WR.
The Secondary would fall in at #2 with Terrel Brown (likely a resign), Asomugha (just didn't pan out) and Carlos Rogers (cap casualty) all potentially gone at the CB position as well as (W)hitner hitting FA. Chris Culliver will be back next season and Tremaine Brock looked good against Houston, but there is the opportunity to infuse some new talent here as well as at SS where (W)hitner is a stout run stopper but a liability in coverage.
#3 would be NT/DT IMO. Some really like Ian Williams who was a rookie FA out of Notre Dame, and he did look solid pre-injury this year, but if there is a potential true NT to be had we need to get one. A 3-4 needs a Nose who requires double teams almost every snap even against the best OLs (obviously these are hard to find as well).
