The #Jets resigned @Sapp55. He's living proof. Never give up on something you really want. Itís difficult to wait, but worse to regret.

So much for the initial diagnosis. Losing Barnes for the season is a significant blow for jets. He was a good pass rusher for them.

Jets have placed OLB Antwan Barnes (knee) on season-ending Injured Reserve. OLB Ricky Sapp re-signed to active roster. #nyj

Lol Steiny and his man crushes. But the Barnes injury sucks. He was playing well for us. He doesn't make or break our D though. We should be fine.

Barnes impact: Has 2 sacks, team-high 12 QB hits. Has played in 41 percent of defensive snaps. Natural edge rusher. A loss for #Jets

Hey Steinberg losing Barnes is not as big of a loss to the Jets defense as you think it is. They still have guys like Coples Wilkerson and Richardson back there who have been studs thus far

God this sucks. I like Barnes and hate when Steiny sucks off practice squad level players for friendship. Don't hate him like others but jeez he's gay as ****.

He still isn't the worst jets "popular" twitter user tho. Tons worse

This is a blow. He was one of our better OLBers. Coples needs to step up.

He was playing better than any other OLB I think he has had a bigger impact than some are realizing. Time to see if Coples is a hit or a miss. We need him to step up. Also going to unfortunately need everything Pace has left in the tank

Rex says it will be hard to replace Barnes and he hopes Barnes is a Jet next year. #

Unless we need the cap space and is released, Barnes should be a Jet next year. Natural pass rushers are hard to find and Barnes' salary isn't that high.

Coples has to step his game up now. McIntyre is another guy. He had three hurries against ATL but their OL is pretty crappy.

Hopefully McIntyre and Coples step up. The Jets need the OLBs to win the one on one opportunities created by the d-line.

I'm confident we won't lose too much utilizing a mix of McIntyre and Pace to replace him...

Pace is as close to our LB core had to a weak link, despite an uptick from last season. He will stay at his position. Its the other OLB spot we are replacing. McIntyre(sp?) is good for a few snaps, but is not a starting caliber player. We NEED Coples to step up.

It was really entertaining watching Barnes before the snap

We have no Von Miller or Aldon Smith. Maybe Coples can become the next big thing like them if you know what I mean...
