with all the talk of qb's making a guy better...why isnt Owens on the top of the list for current WR's based on talent?

Steve Young, Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, Koy Detmer, Drew Bledsoe, Tony Romo, Al Gore, Sean Salisbury, Rex Grossman...it doesnt matter...he makes them good...

Individual players historically - Barry Sanders. Played on a team with an aweful offensive line and averaged 5 YPC, even though he holds the record for being caught behind the line of scrimmage more than any back in history.

Individual players today - Ladanian Tomlinson. Runs, catchs, throws. The guy is just head and shoulders better than anyone at his position, which I don't think you can really say for any other player. Atleast, I can't think of anyone.

I was gonna put randy white on there and take urlacher off.
but I figured with joe green in the middle takin up blocks, I can throw urlacher as an outside with LT on the other side and that would let butkus and lambert have a field day up the middle. lol

It would have to be Walter Payton.

Greatest running back of all time.
Threw a better pass than McMahon and most Qb's.
Could catch better than most recievers
    No one blocked better

No one tackled players while holding the football like Walter.
When players tackled him they payed for it.

True football player and most respected teamate.
    Stats aren't everything.

Oh my God, Marino, WTF? Yeah, he threw a lot of passes, whoopie.

I like it exact I would put Walter ahead of Jim Brown
I mean Walter was an amazing blocker, trucked people for fun, and could run the ball
I know Jim Brown could run, but was he as good as Walter at blocking? thats pretty much what full backs are now today

Thanks dbroncos78087 for the Riot sig
