    I don't know why teams still let pitchers work through dead arm. That's clearly a physical manifestation of a current or incipient injury.

    Team ERA+ since he has been here: 105, 102, 97, 99, 101, 99, 127, 105, 89. Averaging 103 for his 9 seasons here.

    It doesn't look like he has helped much.
