    Gotta keep the streak alive....

...by getting rid of Eric Young.

See, yesterday, Eric Young won the stolen base title, making it the third year in a row that a Met has won an individual award.

    2011 Jose Reyes (Batting title)
    2012 R.A. Dickey (Cy Young)
2013 Eric Young (Stolen base title)

Since we let Jose Reyes go to free agency and then traded away RA Dickey, it's only fitting that Eric Young not return for 2014. At this point it would be just wrong and unfitting to bring back a title winner.

Not sure if he is under contract for next year. If not, they let him walk. If he is, they trade him.
But whatever they do they CANNOT bring him back!

His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."

So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson

Dorothy: How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

4 years because of Omar though. No one said it was going to be an overnight process.

The Michigan team bus was stuck outside Notre Dame stadium for hours after somebody painted a 20 yard line in the parking lot

One of the few times in history that this team mattered 3 years in a row was when Omar was the GM.
