ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Browns fear Brian Hoyer tore his ACL.
NFL Network's Alex Flanagan had a similar report during last night's game, saying the Browns feared Hoyer "tore ligaments." Hoyer will undergo an MRI Friday and the team will know more after that. Hoyer left the game early in the first half against the Bills after completing 2-of-4 passes. He limped to the sideline after being injured on an awkward slide. It certainly sounds like Hoyer could be done for the season. Brandon Weeden would regain his starting job, though the Browns could take a look at free agent Josh Freeman.
