Now that Kershaw has the Cy Young, what about the ROTY. Puig or Ryu?

If someone else than Kersh wins the Cy Young, well would be more stunning than Buster Douglas defeating Mike Tyson.
As Verlander has taken a step back, Clayton can arguably be considered now as the best pitcher in the world... at 25 !
The age Koufax just started to be dominant !

Dodgers have no MVP candidate, but what about the ROTY ?
Who has more chance for the Dodgers: Ryu or Puig ?

    Who are the competitors ?
Red Bird pitcher Shelby Miller ?
    Marlin pitcher Jose Fernandez ?
    Braves slugger Evan Gattis ?

    Other names ?

Yea, Jose Fernandez will win the ROY pretty easily, and deservedly.

I think the DBacks' AJ Pollock still qualifies as a rookie. He deserves some consideration with a .269/.322/.410 line that was about league average + strong base running and defense.

Julio Teheran, Shelby Miller, Garret Cole and Trevor Rosenthal also deserve to be mentioned.

Gattis got a lot of hype, but his overall production wasn't that impressive.

I would argue Fha Adrian and Hanley deserve mvp consideration.

Ryu shouldn't win over Fernandez considering Fernandez pitched better, but Fernandez has created a similar amount of Value as Puig, 4.1fwar Puig to 4.2 fwar Jose this year I think it can fairly be argued that Puig had a much bigger impact on this season than Fernandez did. Their are intangibles to consider.

Neither unfortunately, Ryu has 0 shot at winning, Puig has a chance, but Fernandez will probably win and it won't be a big disappointment, Fernandez was great this year

I think Fernandez will finish as one of the top vote getters for cy young and that's saying something for a rookie.. I think Fernandez gets the ROY for sure.. Puig was amazing but I think Fernandez was more dominant

If Puig didn't end the year so horrifically, then maybe we could talk, but it's really not a debate, and to be honest, still might not have been if he had.
