Toronto Blue Jays vs Boston Red Sox - September 20-22

    Toronto Blue Jays

    vs

    Boston Red Sox

    Friday September 20, 7:10

Esmil Rogers (5-7, 4.47 ERA) vs Jon Lester (14-8, 3.75 ERA)

Rogers' scoreless-innings streak was broken at 14 in his last outing vs. the Orioles, but he was able to pick up a quality start. The right-hander allowed three runs on five hits and a pair of walks in six innings, while striking out seven.

The lefty has been a monster since the All-Star break, going 6-2 with a 2.38 ERA in 11 starts. At Fenway this season, Lester is 6-1 with a 3.25 ERA. In five starts against Toronto, he is 3-0 with a 2.80 ERA.

    Saturday September 21, 7:10

Mark Buehrle (11-9, 4.17 ERA) vs Clay Buchholz (11-0, 1.51 ERA)

Buehrle allowed two earned runs on six hits during his last start against Baltimore but was forced to leave after just five innings because of a high pitch count. He's now surrendered two earned runs or fewer in all but one of his past eight starts.

As it turns out, three months off did nothing to take Buchholz away from the roll he was on earlier in the season. In the two starts since his return, he hasn't allowed an earned run over 11 innings. Buchholz is 6-0 with a 1.88 ERA at home this year.

    Sunday September 22, 1:35

    R.A. Dickey (13-12, 4.21 ERA) vs Felix Doubront (10-6, 4.15 ERA)

Dickey had his best outing at home of the season vs. the Yankees in his last outing, as he tossed seven shutout innings and struck out eight. It was just the second time he's held an opponent off the board at home this season.

In the midst of a slump, the Red Sox gave Doubront a two-week rest. This will be his first start since Sept. 6. Doubront has pitched 14 times at Fenway this season, going 5-4 with a 3.95 ERA.

Vic Mackey: You better figure out how much you hate me. And how you're going to deal with that. 'Cause I'm not going anywhere.

Too bad there wasnt like a month left in the season to see if JP can get to .150. He should start bunting just to remember what it feels like for the bat to touch the ball.

Horrible, terrible, lousy, stinks, all among many words that are considered as compliments for JPA.

597 OPS AA, is that bad enough for you or is he still a Fav.

J.P. Arencibia what a bum this guy is. I would rather they put Dickey up instead of Jp. He might have more of a chance to get a hit than this guy holy **** he is bad.
