In light of the Browns trading their franchise player Trent Richardson which to some may seem like a head scratcher, it was actually a good move from a GM standpoint. The Browns now have 2 first round draft picks and got rid of of an injury prone mediocre back.
After last game, It's obvious what the future holds for Dallas and there's a recipe for repeat of the same stuff we've been seeing the past few years. Of course, nothing will change with GM Jones at the helm. But i think a scenario to make this team better is to trade Dez Bryant and Demarcus Ware to the Jaguars for Justin Blackmon and their 1st and 2nd round draft picks. Jacksonville is losing money and they would capitalize on having 2 big name players in their market. The Cowboys get an almost elite talent WR in Blackmon with high upside AND 2 high draft picks while getting rid of a troubled player in Bryant. When free agency 2014 hits, the Cowboys then go after the freak, free agent Brian Orakpo(whom the Redskins will most likely let walk) to fill Ware's shoes.
This is something that a smart GM would think about to make his team better for the long term. Thoughts?
