    Stinky Twinkies @ A's (9/19 - 9/22)

    @

    Game 1
    Thursday, Sep 19

    _________
    Kevin Correia__________Dan Straily

Other guys: Correia fared well in a loss against the Rays on Friday, as the right-hander went six-plus innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and a walk with five strikeouts. He now has a 2.87 ERA over his last seven outings.
A's: Straily won after giving up two runs on two hits and four walks with four strikeouts in 5 2/3 innings on Friday against the Rangers. He's 4-0 with a 1.90 ERA across his past four appearances.

    Game 2
    Friday, Sep 20

    _________
    Andrew Albers__________Bartolo Colon

Other guys: Albers was hit hard in his four innings of work in a rain-shortened outing against the Rays on Saturday. He gave up four runs on six hits and a walk with one strikeout.
    A's: Mmmmmm...twinkies.

    Game 3
    Saturday, Sep 21

    _________
    Pedro Hernandez__________Jarrod Parker

Other guys: Hernandez was hurt by the long ball vs. the Rays on Sunday, as he gave up two homers in his five innings. He gave up just four hits but also struggled with his control, walking four batters and needing 89 pitches to get through five innings.
A's: Parker lost for the first time since May 22, lasting just 4 1/3 innings against the Angels -- his shortest outing since June 29. The second-year right-hander yielded seven earned runs on eight hits, striking out three and walking two.

    Game 4
    Sunday, Sep 22

    _________
    TBA__________Sonny Gray

Other guys: Regardless of who the Twins choose to start, you know he'll be terrible.
A's: Gray is 2-1 with a 1.26 ERA in five games at home, compared to 1-2 with a 4.91 ERA in five games on the road. He yielded a lone solo homer to Mike Trout in six innings against the Angels in his last start, striking out five and walking one.

Anyone else find it ironic that Joba the Hut is pitching for us on Star Wars night?

I forgot about that, I should have used that picture.

Anyway, the Twins are sooo bad. I feel sorry for their fans, that is just a horribly constructed team. I don't know if I've ever seen a more pathetic starting pitching staff.

Yah. Albers was BP. Now they're going with someone named Hernandez...twins aren't a deep squad at all. Probably they're best SP is Correia......
