How To Defend Mark Sanchez For Dummies.
A. Tell everyone how many games "he's" won.
B. Keep repeating how bad of an OC Brian Schottenheimer is.
C. Make sure everyone knows their WR's aren't good.
D. Either is their OL.
E. Or their run game.
F. Or anyone else on their team. They're all bad. Their defense is awful and we can recite stats on why.
G. Create some hypothetical that cannot be proven or disproven. IE "I don't think Player A would have done any better than Sanchez.
H. Pretend losing the Conference Championship game is the ultimate goal of a football team.
I. Keep repeating how he is improving without any empirical evidence.
J. Never acknowledge that another player playing QB for the Jets instead of Sanchez would put up better stats or more wins.
K. Link to youtube of him making nice throws. Ignore the 5 easy ones a game he misses.
L. Use how many games he started in college continually as some sort of excuse on why he isn't good yet.
M. Ignore important stats that put him in the bottom 5-10 of the league.
N. If I use stats to show he's inferior to another player, tell me to quit thinking "fantasy football."
O. Ignore things like playing against 3rd string DBs.
P. All drops are WR's fault. Never Mark's off target throw.
Q. Mark isn't as good as he could be because he had to start right away. Rodgers got to sit and is now great. Ipso facto, Sanchez would be as good as Rodgers if he got to sit first.
R. When a QB he plays chokes and has two TO's in the 4th QTR, he lead the team back to victory.
S. Pretend Indy didn't hand Mark a playoff spot. He earned that.
T. Ignore that Mark has more INTs than TDs.
U. Ignore that Jamarcus Russell's QB rating in the full season he started is better than Mark's career rating.
V. Tell us how he wins again. You haven't said that in a while.
W. And he wins with zero talent too.
X. The WR's always drop passes that they should catch and don't get open. OL NEVER gives him any time to throw.
Y. And yeah Brain Schottenheimer is the worst OC ever.
Z. Sanchez is just a victim of circumstances. He had to start right away on a bad team after limited college experience and he has to deal with the worst OC and is just a victim of anti NY sports media bias.
