This is my biggest concern with the team going forward. We have our issues, but I think they are all surmountable, with the right approach. My concern, however, is that management doesn't seem to have an approach, direction. They seem bent on half measures.
If AROD is suspended for all or part of the season, that's a big break, and they can use that cash to shore up the team yet stay under the cap.
But is the money used for more patchwork? Or to move the team forward.
Do young players get a change to play?
Do older players who show value to contenders get moved?
Do we go into the international market and sign a big name?
My single biggest view is that the team needs to stop half measures and move the team forward, one way or another.
My second is that, were it I, I'd get the team younger.
(Disclaimer, if you don't want to talk about the offseason yet, leave the thread).
