Together, We will go through the motions: Arizona Dbacks @ SF Giants - Sept 5-8

    .........................

ARIZONA DBACKS (70-68) @ SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (62-77)

    AT&T PARK

    Game 1: Thursday, September 5th @ 7:15 PM

    VS.
    Trevor Cahill..........Ryan Vogelsong

    Scouting Report:
Dbacks: Cahill pitched well against the Giants, allowing three runs over 6 1/3 innings. In his outing prior to that he was forced into relief duty in an 18-inning game against the Phillies, throwing four scoreless innings.

Giants: Vogelsong's offspeed pitches lacked sharpness in his last outing -- he said that his mechanics deserted him occasionally -- but he still recorded his third quality start in a row and fourth in his last five performances.

    Game 2: Friday, September 6th @ 7:15 PM

    VS.
    Patrick Corbin......Yusmeiro Petit

    Scouting Report:
Dbacks: Corbin struggled in his two most recent starts, allowing a combined 13 earned runs in 10 1/3 innings. The D-backs will monitor him closely in this start for any signs of fatigue as they consider reducing his workload down the stretch.

    Giants: N/A

    Game 3: Saturday September 7th @ 6:05 PM

    VS.
    Brandon McCarthy..........Matt Cain

    Scouting Report:
Dbacks: McCarthy pitched well last time out against the Jays. He allowed two first-inning runs and then shut them out until allowing a two-run homer in the ninth. This is McCarthy's second start against the Giants in 2013.

Giants: Returning from his first-ever DL stint, Cain takes the ball vs. the D-backs, against whom he's 14-6 with a 3.39 ERA. Cain hasn't pitched since being hit by a line drive on the right forearm Aug. 22.

    Game 4: Sunday September 8th @ 1:05 PM

    VS.
    Wade Miley..........Mad Bum

    Scouting Report:
Dbacks: Miley pitched poorly his last time out against the Jays. After allowing a run in the first, he lost his composure during a frustrating second and allowed four runs. The 1 2/3-inning outing was the shortest of his career.

    Giants: N/A

Together we're spoilers! While the Dbacks chances of catching the second WC spot of slim being seven games back, I want to make sure they don't pull off a miracle.

Would you trust a blind scout? Of course you wouldn't but that's what you do when you simply go by stats

I got a question. Is anyone else getting tired of everyone growing huge beards? (Wade Miley, I'm looking at you). I'm not sore over Brian Wilson, but it's just something I've noticed ever since we started it in 2010, lol

No. But I have one so I'm a little biased.

The Giants are good at losing baseball games.
