Fate of Sanchez- Hooray!!! A Poll

If his shoulder keeps him out more than a few weeks, I think he will be released. It is the perfect situation for the FO to cut ties with him.
He will be a poorly, performing QB with a repeat injury to his throwing arm. 2010 he battled one and then last year he supposedly had one.

(Even worse, I wonder if they could move him to the PUP list and let him sit.)

Where is the option to just tie a cinder block/anchor to his legs and just dump him into the Hudson???

4 playoff wins, i think he could be traded for a 6r pick and some salary pay-out

I think we coulda got something for him if he was healthy, a seventh maybe. But my vote was for sit all season cuz that probably means Geno is playing well

I didn't want to give that as an option.
You're right and anything is possible. I just wanted to give those options. I also think with repeated throwing shoulder injury, back and knee injuries, he will get cut before traded. Someone may pick him up is he is (Seattle?)

Since they're paying him anyway, cutting him doesn't make sense.

Even though they're going with Geno, there's still a chance Geno could get hurt, like any other QB. Having Mark here to back him up since we're paying him anyway makes the most sense. Also, we have treated him like dirt a number of times, and he has never caused a controversy, so I don't see him causing a problem, even if he is the backup...

If healthy, I thought Sanchez was going to have a respectable year

He showed glimpses of greatness and then he would revert to old Sanchez!

Preseason he was decent but still turned the ball over. To the Hudson and be done with him!

If Geno plays average, we will never see Sanchez again

I don't know about greatness, but he has shown he can be an average to good QB. He certainly needs a strong team and strong coaching around him to succeed.
