    Scouting Report:
Giants: Petit pitched for Arizona from 2007-09, mostly as a starter. He posted a 9-19 record with a 5.05 ERA in 56 appearances, including 35 starts. In 25 career appearances at Chase Field (15 starts), he's 4-7 with a 5.99 ERA.

Diamondbacks: Because of an off-day and a quirk in the rotation due to an 18-inning game, Corbin will have two extra days between starts, and that may be coming at a good time. In five August starts, the lefty is 1-2 with a 5.13 ERA.

    Hurray for adult supervision!

Really looking forward to tonight's match up. Glad we've got a full month of Voggy to figure out where he is before the end of September mercy killing rolls around.

Vogey definitely seems like the post season plus the WBC drained him, so with the normal length off season this year he'll be more than capable of holding down his spot in the rotation next season.

That's what I'm hoping for. Seems to be a lot of talk about him being done, though. I don't think that's the case, but being on the East Coast, I'm not always sure exactly what really is going on. One thing I think I am certain of, though, is that whomever is hosting the KNBR shows have lost their weak little minds.

Giants go from winning to tanking. Confused.

Welcome back Crazy Horse!: Giants @ Diamondbacks - August 30th-September 1st

Every Giant that participated in the WBC has been on the DL aside from Romo. Not only did they spend time on the DL they've been mediocre overall at best.

I think Bochy rode a tank to the Chase Field:

    Arias ss
    Abreu 2b
    Posey 1b
    Pence rf
    Sandoval 3b
    Pill lf
    Sanchez c
    Blanco cf
    Petit

It's hard to believe that's even a real lineup.

Arias is 1 for 11 against Corbin and he's leading off. Jesus. At least we get to see Pill back in LF at Chase Field.

Gonna have to break open a new case of Rustoleum to celebrate this fine lineup.

Quite possibly the worst lineup of the season. Well done, Boch.

    Playoff Bochy.
