PSD player rankings by position (Volume II)- #1 DT/NT in the NFL

Hello, all. A few years ago, I did something like this in the NFL Forum but forgot to do it this past year. And for those who wander into the NBA Forum, I'm sure you're aware that MHC does these polls every year. But basically, I'm going to go through each position and PSD is going to vote on the best players for that position. The polls will move fast since the regular season is coming up. And in all likelihood, we won't get through each position.

Please TRY AND VOTE FOR THE BEST PLAYER AND DON'T BE A HOMER. I will leave the poll open for one day and than we can carry on to the next best player at that position. I will add more players after each round.

REMEMBER this is based on who is the best player, not the player who has the potential to be the best

For positions like QB, RB, WR, etc., we'll do a top 10. For positions that never garner much attention, we'll do a top 5.

Please vote in the #3 Safety , #1 ILB/MLB and #1 OLB threads as well:

For those wondering, we did not get to the DT/NT rankings 2 years ago.

Geno Atkins. Should be no debate here. After him though, it gets interesting.

Just bein a homer and mentioning that when you update the list further down the line think about giving Fletcher Cox some love(unless youre putting him with 3-4 DEs I have no idea how you're doing it haha), he was phenomenal last year

Geno gets it here, while i do love Ngata

I hope you vote during the NFL Re-draft

I think I'd list Fletcher in this poll because he's not strictly an edge rusher. Not that the other guys are but for the most part, I'll be listing 3-4 DEs under DTs/NTs which is why Justin Smith is on this poll. For those wondering though, this was not how I initially planned on doing it. In fact, because Geno was already leading this poll, I couldn't include JJ here so had to put him with the Edge Rushers, which he mostly is. The way I had it before was based on their position on NFL.com, which is why some of you may have noticed the polls were edited.

The positions for the front 7 though were a bit more complicated because of the different schemes (3-4 vs. 4-3).
