    Welcome Back Captain!

Yankees find themselves 3.5 Games out of a Playoff spot heading into September.

They need to jump over the Indians, Orioles, and Athletics to secure that position.

We need Derek Jeter now more than ever to help lengthen this lineup and bring this team to the Postseason.

    Welcome Back Captain!

Nunez was hitting well but I welcome DJ back and hopefully his presence sparks even more bats to improve.
    Only 3.5 out

Lets streak a bunch of Ws together. I'm optimistic. Glass half full. Leggo

Don't get used to it... Lets see quad, calf, hamstring is next. I hate to be so pessimistic but I don't think we can rely on Derek this season to stay healthy

Who has the betting pool? You know, the one that everyone is betting on when his next injury will be and which muscle he will pull/strain/tear this time?

Let's face it, his track record this season say is not if, but when he goes down again.

Jeter, whether he is 50% or 75% healthy is a huge member of this team....they battled back without Derek but his presence alone is great for the team for the final 32 games.....you saw what had happened to the team when the captain crumbled to the ground last Oct, they fell apart.....he needs to play hard and not worry about injury....this will give us a shot!
