    Time to Shut Down Harvey

Last several games - including today - Harvey has had poor location. Does not look good. Thirteen hits ...? Shut him down. This is not the same pitcher as earlier.

No. He's fine. He's actually BETTER since the AS break. His ERA is lower, he hasn't allowed a HR, his velocity is still there, and he has an insane 43/3 K:BB ratio.

The All-Star break wasn't even that close, now. How has he been say, his last 4 starts? Seriously, I don't know.

He's been excellent in August too. We're just expecting Harvey to dominate every start which isn't fair. He has 27 strikeouts and 2 walks.

I think he's been looking for more contact, he wants to pitch deeper into games.

Shut down Harvey and you lose most of your attendance.

I think that's what it is too.

He's been pitching that way since the Colorado start.

The giveaway that he is not being serious is the misspelling.
"The 90 wins is about challenge. It's about changing the conversation. It's about framing questions for ourselves as to how we get there. So I stand by the notion that we need to get better, and in doing so we need to set concrete goals for ourselves so that we have sort of specific conversations among ourselves about how we're going to get there." -- Mr. Alderson

Harvey is not pitching to contact, he is just getting tired and falling behind, but he's still throwing strikes and not walking people.

    I'm tired.

Tired of reading your posts already.
"Mr. Martin Tanner, Baritone, of Dayton, Ohio made his Town Hall debut last night. He came well prepared, but unfortunately his presentation was not up to contemporary professional standards. His voice lacks the range of tonal color necessary to make it consistently interesting. Full time consideration of another endeavor might be in order."
