    felton drops 15 pounds

NEW YORK -- Raymond Felton says he "loves" the changes the Knicks made in the offseason. Felton also made a pretty significant change himself.*With the help of Washington D.C.-based trainer Keith Veney, Felton says he has lost approximately 15 pounds since the end of the 2012-13 season. He played at around 212 pounds last year and is encouraged with his new physique and the added speed it can lead to.*"I was quick before, but if you take off 15 pounds, you can be that much quicker," Felton said Sunday at a Big Brothers-Big Sisters New York City event at St. John's.

I'll bet you a million bucks if he took a picture right now he'll still look fat. Dude needs to drop about 40 lbs to see significant results

Felton said his new physique should allow him to push the tempo a bit this season. Felton's intrigued by the possibility of having Andrea Bargnani trailing on fast breaks, where, in a perfect world for the Knicks, he'd find Bargnani open for 3-point attempts.

"I'll push it right down the court ... if I don't have anything, I know I got him," Felton said.

LOL not to marginalize good results but I agree here. 15 LBs he probably didn't even start skipping 4th meal yet.

    I don't like Felton unless he's at least a lil over-weight.

Loll I hope this doesn't have the CC Sebathia effect on him.

Its good to have players that actually want to be here.
Now he needs to work on the that floater/teer drop.
That **** looked ugly last year and he must've missed like 99% of them.

I don't recall him making a floater ever, if he did I'll credit the breeze

Nah, i specifically remember him making floaters and being genuinely surprised each time it happened.

I think I remember him making it once. It looked like it was a pass.
I think he didnt know whether to pass it to Chandler or shoot it and he kind of did something in between and it went in.

Ok....so is this something he wanted to do OR is this coming from Woodson? ....same instructions he gave Melo last summer? Because Felton has believed he plays better when he's "husky"and used that excuse to come to camp fat...I mean "husky"?

So, not sure how this will improve/regressed his game....we'll see but at least he's starting to put more importance on his conditioning.

I'm a Felton fanboy these days.. He was way better last year than he was the first go around.. The only thing that killed his year statistically was that one month where he should've sat out with the broken shooting hand. The dude gets to the rim at will but this year he HAS TO start making that floater.
