what are we going to do about our oline?? workout gaither??

With our only good lineman out for at least half the season and our 2nd round rookie so far behind what are we going to do for our line? Barron isnt the answer!! Should we bring in someone like jared gaither who has an injury history but could step in if healthy. Maybe by the time he gets hurt veldheer would be back and if not we would have probably the biggest bookends in history!

God i hope so or else this is going to be like watching andrew walter all over again. As weak as gaither was last year he has got to be better than barron if healthy.

I was going to say the same thing about Andrew Walter haha. Friday's brutal line play reminded me of that time period.

I think at this point Alex Barron is a right tackle. He played pretty well at RT in the Dallas game and at practice. Khalif Barnes was originally brought in with the understanding that he was gonna get a shot at becoming the starting left tackle. But all the Raider coaches from Tom Cable and onward have played him everywhere except left tackle. For this upcoming game against Chicago I would switch them around. Barnes was a solid LT for Jaguars and he might be happier playing there. Leave Barron at RT.

I agree Barnes may be the answer at LT till Veldheer returns. I think we should slide Bergstrom out there at RT he was drafted as an OT he doesn't seem to have the power inside at guard. Then use Briesel and Parsons as the gaurds I remember Parsons filling in well for Carlisle last season.

Bass and Moore look decent well against other teams back up they do.

I'm OK with the suggestions, however, I have no confidence in Briesel.

It will be great If Bass and crawford become starters by seasons end. Bass and Crawford at the ends, Houston finally inside. A young core of bass/Crawford/Moore/Hayden can give us a nice defense next year if they step up.

It's like going to class for the first time a week before finals.

This whole OL situation reeks of ineptitude.

With the limited carries McFadden has had so far he has not looked good at all. Our terrible O-line is gonna kill this offense.
